Our Story

Belton Early Childhood School

The Belton Early Childhood School (BECS) serves Pre-Kindergarten students who turn four (4) years of age on or before September 1. Our current enrollment is approximately 450 students. Our goal at BECS is to prepare children to enter kindergarten and to be successful throughout their school career.  In the pre-k classrooms we follow the Texas Education Pre-K guidelines and use the Children’s Learning Institute (CLI) framework to guide our instruction. A large portion of our curriculum involves building social-emotional skills with our students.  The social, emotional, and physical development of young children has a direct effect on their overall development and the adults that they will become. At BECS we understand the importance of early learning, and our staff is dedicated and ready to support your little one. We also understand the importance of working with our families and therefore will provide a variety of parent involvement opportunities. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child’s educational journey.
